Invitation to Contribute
The blog is dedicated to fostering critical and engaged conversations in law and development scholarship. It is inspired by the intellectual legacy of the late Professor Koen De Feyter, whose work helped shape thoughtful, interdisciplinary, and globally attentive approaches to the field. At the same time, we are open to a broader range of themes, formats, and scholarly interventions within and close to the field of law and development.
We therefore welcome contributions that engage with a wide spectrum of issues, debates, and developments relevant to law and development broadly understood. Contributions may include, for example:
- reflections on contemporary debates in law and development;
- short analytical pieces related to ongoing research;
- critical interventions on current legal, political, social, or economic developments relevant to the field;
- interdisciplinary perspectives;
- methodological or conceptual reflections;
- reports from workshops, seminars, conferences, or other academic events.

Submission Guidelines
Word count: 1,000–1,500 words
Language: English (selected multilingual contributions possible)
Format: Word file, with optional images/media (with credits)
Citation style: OSCOLA
Kindly include the following information when submitting your contribution: working title; your full name and affiliation; one or two sentences about your affiliation; your social media profiles, should you wish to be tagged; relevant links, videos, pictures (embedded/hyperlinked); tags: 5-6; indication of word count.
