Welcome to Law and Development Conversations!
This blog is coordinated by the Law and Development Research Group at the University of Antwerp. The group brings together researchers who explore the role of law in advancing human dignity and global justice, both within and across States in the Global North and South.
Adopting a critical perspective, the group examines what law actually does in society, among others, through interdisciplinary and empirical research.
The blog was launched in 2025, building on the longstanding work of the research group, which was established in 2006 as part of the Faculty of Law at the University of Antwerp.
